Hand block printing or block printing is a process of printing on textiles using wooden blocks. The patterns are drawn on block and these blocks are dipped in dies and then printed on textiles. Mostly these type of printing is done on textiles like linen, cotton or silk. It is a time taking process but yields great artistic results.
These type of printing is very common in eastern Asia basically in China & India.
